Life of Pi is an ambitious book which promises from the beginning that, by the end of the book, you will believe in god. While I doubt it fully completes this goal with every reader. It offers an interesting question to chew on. When faced with to possibilities, neither of which will affect your life, and neither of which can be proven or disproven, wouldn't you choose the more fantastical option? Wouldn't you choose the tiger?
