Reading Lolita in Tehran tells the story of Azar Nafisi, an Iranian college professor, and her experiences with the islamic revolution and it's aftermath. What makes this book especially interesting is that Nafisi tells her stories through the lens of other books (hence the title). There's a lot of points that can fly over your head if you haven't read the books she talks about, but if you can get past that this is amazing.
