Soap Box Cars
For this project the entire 9th grade was re-sorted into different classes, each covering a different subject, that would eventually be worked together into one giant exhibition. I was in the Physics/Engineering class, where our task was to make a "gravity car" that we would race down a hill near the exhibition. For our car, we used chicken wire to build the frame that sat on top of the wooden chassis, then covered the chicken wire with fiber glass to give it a finished quality. Then, because we were 9th graders, we covered the car with memes. I was in charge of the steering and spoiler, both of which worked, so I consider this project a success. below is a picture of the final product taken at our exhibition.
